  • Do Not Reach into Restricted Areas

  • Be Familiar with Emergency Operations

Memorize the location of the Emergency Stop button. In case of abnormal noises, smoke, or a jammed steel bar, press the emergency stop button immediately and then cut off the power for inspection.

Before Startup: Perform Pre-Operational Checks

  • Listen and Observe

Normal operation produces a smooth, humming sound. If you hear a high-pitched screech or notice violent vibration, stop the machine immediately. This may indicate a misaligned saw blade or a jammed bar.

  • Do Not Overload the Feeder

Do not exceed the equipment's "maximum feeding capacity". Overloading the feeding rack can bend the track or cause materials to fall and cause injury.

After Shutdown: Complete the Shutdown Procedure

 

  • Power Down and Clean

After turning off the power, use a brush to remove metal filings from the sawing and threading areas (excessive filings can jam components and cause rust). Also, clean debris from the grinding wheel.

  • Short-Term Storage

If the equipment will be idle for more than 3 days, apply a layer of anti-rust oil to the saw blade and die. Wipe the equipment surfaces clean and cover it with a dust cover.

  • Do Not Self-Repair

  • Do Not Process Out-of-Specification Steel Bars

If the equipment is rated for cutting φ16-φ50 steel bars, do not attempt to cut φ55 bars, as this will shatter the saw blade.
