The working principle is quite simple
First, according to the construction requirements, the main bars are inserted into the template holes of the fixed and moving turntables and fixed in place. Then, the end of the bent bar is welded to one of the main bars. After that, the two turntables rotate together, and the moving turntable rotates while moving backward, evenly winding the bent bar around the main bar. At the same time, it is welded synchronously, and the steel cage is automatically formed.
Its most crucial advantage is that through the PLC program, the spacing of the stirrups can be directly set, and the system will precisely control the rotational speed and moving speed of the two turntables, ensuring uniform spacing, high precision, and stable processing.
The delivered XHGH-2200 model is designed to meet diverse construction needs. With a processing diameter range of 600–2200 mm and a standard cage length of 12 meters (customizable up to 18 m, 25 m, or 26 m), it is well suited for metro tunnels, large bridges, and various pile foundation projects.
Equipped with an integrated PLC, inverter, and touchscreen control system, along with high-precision servo drives, the machine ensures flexible speed control and stable accuracy within ±1 mm. The dual welding torch design improves efficiency by over 50%. Only 3–6 operators are required per shift, producing 10–15 cages per day, significantly reducing labor compared to traditional manual methods.
The machine supports main bars of Φ12–32 mm and spiral bars of Φ6–12 mm, with adjustable spacing from 50–500 mm. It features a 2.2-ton pay-off system for continuous feeding and a 7.5 kW hydraulic motor, with a total power of 25 kW, ensuring energy-efficient and environmentally friendly operation.
With a compact structure, stable performance in temperatures from 0–40°C, and a modular design for easy maintenance, the equipment is well suited for on-site construction conditions.
