The small conduit production line is a dedicated equipment system for the automated processing of small conduits used in tunnel support.  By integrating multiple processing procedures, it enables continuous and efficient production from raw steel pipes to finished small conduits, and is widely applied in underground engineering fields such as tunnels, subways, and mines.

Core Definition and Application Scenarios

Core definition: The small conduit production line uses steel pipes as raw materials and, through a series of automated processes such as automatic feeding, precise hole cutting, and end tapering, mass-produces "small conduits" for advanced tunnel support. The finished conduits typically have grouting holes and pointed ends, and are used for ground reinforcement prior to tunnel excavation.

Main application: Specifically designed for the advanced small conduit grouting support process in tunnel engineering, it is suitable for construction scenarios involving weak or fragmented strata and shallow-buried underground excavation. It is a key piece of equipment for enhancing the safety and efficiency of tunnel construction.

Core Component System

The production line achieves full-process automation through the coordinated operation of various systems. Its core components include six major modules:

System Name Core Function Key Components
Feeding system Automatically and orderly supplies raw steel pipes. Feeding frame, roller conveyor, feeding mechanism
Hole-cutting system Precisely processes grouting holes (round or elliptical) on the sidewalls of steel pipes. Plasma cutting torch, CNC positioning mechanism, rotating chuck
Conveying system Connects each processing station and automatically transfers steel pipes. Chain conveyors, servo feeding mechanisms
Tapering system Heats one end of the steel pipe and extrudes it into a pointed shape. Medium-frequency heating furnace, tapering die, hydraulic/servo forming mechanism
Control system Coordinates the actions of the entire production line to achieve automated operation. PLC controller, touchscreen interface, servo drives
Blanking system Automatically collects and stacks the finished small conduits in the finished product bin. Pneumatic/electric blanking mechanisms

Core Processing Flow

The production line follows a fixed processing sequence, requiring only four core steps from raw materials to finished products, with a high degree of automation throughout the process.

Automatic feeding: Raw steel pipes are conveyed by the feeding system to the roller conveyor and enter the next station.

Precise hole cutting: The steel pipe is sent to the hole-cutting station, where the CNC system controls the cutting torch to cut holes automatically according to preset parameters (hole diameter, spacing, number of rows). The pipe can also rotate to process holes circumferentially.

End tapering: After hole cutting, the steel pipe is transferred to the tapering station. The pipe end is heated to a plastic state at medium frequency and then extruded through a die to form a pointed tip.

Finished product blanking: The processed small conduits are transferred to the blanking system and automatically fall into the finished product bin, completing the production process.

 Main Technical Features

Highly automated: From raw materials to finished products, the entire process requires no manual intervention, significantly reducing labor costs and improving production efficiency.

High processing accuracy: CNC positioning and servo drive systems ensure consistent hole position, diameter accuracy, and taper shape.

Strong compatibility: By adjusting parameters, the system can meet the processing requirements of small conduits with different diameters (e.g., Φ42, Φ50, Φ60) and lengths.

Outstanding efficiency: The average daily output of a single production line can reach several thousand pieces, far exceeding traditional manual or single-machine processing methods.
