The maintenance of the steel cage rolling welding machine requires attention to both daily upkeep and regular inspections to ensure the equipment's accuracy and longevity. The following are key maintenance points:

Daily Maintenance

Cleaning: Use high-pressure air or a brush to remove steel debris and dust from the equipment surface, welding rollers, rollers, and guide rails. Wipe the welding gun nozzle to remove welding slag.

Lubrication: Apply lubricating grease to the transmission chain and sprocket, and add lubricating oil to the roller bearings and guide rail sliders to ensure smooth operation.

Inspection: Check if the rolling welding wheel is worn or deformed and verify that the steel bar positioning mechanism is securely tightened. Inspect the power cord and welding cable for damage, and ensure the emergency stop button is functioning properly.

Regular Maintenance

Weekly: Check the tension of the chain and adjust it if loose. Drain the hydraulic/pneumatic systems and discharge slag, checking for any leaks. Clean the debris off the conveyor rollers.

Monthly: Tighten the wiring terminals in the electrical cabinet, check for oxidation on the contactor contacts, and polish them as needed. Calibrate the parallelism of the roller welding wheel and the steel bar spacing positioning ruler, adjusting it if the deviation exceeds the limit.

Special and Long-Term Maintenance

Welding Components: Regularly grind the working surface of the roller welding wheel to maintain flatness. Replenish the coolant in the water cooling system every week and clean it quarterly to prevent scaling in the pipes.

Long-Term Disuse: After cleaning, apply rust-proof oil to the moving parts and place moisture-absorbing agents in the electrical cabinet after power shutdown. Preheat the equipment with electricity for 30 minutes every week, and cover it with a rainproof cloth to prevent dust and moisture buildup.

Maintenance Precautions

Before performing maintenance, disconnect the power supply and place warning signs. Ensure that lubricating oil and spare parts match the equipment model. Maintain a maintenance log, and have complex faults handled by professional personnel.
