The fully automatic welded wire mesh machine is a highly automated metal wire mesh processing device, mainly used to produce mesh sheets of different specifications from various metal wires (such as steel wires, reinforcing bars, iron wires, etc.) through welding. Its working principle is based on resistance spot welding technology.

After the equipment is powered on, the electrodes conduct current to the intersection points of the metal wires. Using the resistance heat generated when current passes through the wires, the contact points melt instantly. Under the action of electrode pressure, and after cooling and solidification, a firm weld point is formed, thereby joining the metal wires into a mesh. For example, in producing steel mesh for construction, by precisely controlling the current, electrode pressure, and welding time, it can be ensured that each weld point has sufficient strength.

Classification of Welded Mesh Types

  • Steel Bar Welded Mesh Machine for Construction

Specifically designed for producing steel bar mesh sheets for the construction industry, it can weld steel bars of different diameters and meet the specification requirements of various construction projects, such as the common steel bar mesh used for concrete reinforcement at construction sites. Its features include high welding power, the ability to weld relatively thick steel bars, and high welding strength, meeting the safety standards of construction projects.

  • Guardrail Welded Wire Mesh Machine

Mainly used to produce various guardrail mesh sheets for protection, such as highway guardrail mesh sheets and community protective fence mesh sheets. The equipment can flexibly adjust welding parameters according to the shape requirements of the guardrail, producing mesh sheets with different grid sizes and shapes. It features high welding speed and good mesh flatness, ensuring that the guardrail mesh is aesthetically pleasing and has excellent protective performance after installation.

Application Fields

  • Construction Industry

This is one of the main application areas of fully automatic welded wire mesh machines. In construction, steel mesh is widely used for reinforcing concrete structures such as foundations, walls, floor slabs, and other parts of high-rise buildings. Using steel mesh instead of the traditional manual binding of steel bars can not only improve construction efficiency but also enhance the integrity and seismic performance of concrete structures. Meanwhile, protective nets for construction and scaffolding mesh sheets can also be produced by fully automatic welded wire mesh machines.

  • Traffic Facilities

The production of mesh sheets for traffic facilities-such as highway and railway guardrails and anti-throw nets for bridges-relies on fully automatic welded wire mesh machines. These mesh sheets must possess high strength, corrosion resistance, and other properties to ensure traffic safety and the service life of facilities. For instance, the corrugated beam guardrail mesh along expressways, after being welded into shape by a fully automatic welded wire mesh machine and undergoing surface treatment processes such as hot-dip galvanizing, can effectively resist corrosion in harsh environments.
