The steel cage rolling welding machine is specialized equipment for steel bar processing.  It uses a PLC numerical control system as its core and integrates mechanical transmission with automatic welding.  It is mainly used for producing steel bar skeletons (steel cages) in concrete pile foundations, piers, columns, and other structures.  Its introduction has completely replaced the outdated method of manual binding and welding, becoming key equipment for achieving standardized construction in large-scale projects such as high-speed railways, bridges, and high-rise buildings.

Core Working Principle and Precision Control

Processing Flow

After the main bars are manually inserted into the circular holes of the fixed and moving rotating discs and secured, the ends of the spiral bars (wound bars) are welded to the starting points of the main bars. The two rotating discs rotate synchronously, causing the wound bars to spiral around the surface of the main bars. At the same time, the intersection points are welded through CO₂ shielded welding. During the welding process, the moving disc moves backward at a constant speed, ultimately forming a complete steel cage.

Precision Guarantee

The spacing of the stirrups is precisely controlled by the PLC system through the regulation of the rotational and movement speeds of the rotating disc, keeping the error within ±5 mm. This solves the long-standing problem of uneven spacing in manual processing and enables product quality to meet the "inspection-exempt" standard specified in the regulations.

Core Advantages and Economic Value of the Equipment

A Leap in Production Efficiency

A five-person team (two for material preparation, one for operation, and two for assistance) working in two shifts can process more than 20 steel cages of 12 meters in length per day-five to eight times more efficient than traditional manual methods.

Dual Optimization of Quality and Cost

The main reinforcement bars are evenly distributed, and the welding points are firm. The diameter consistency error of the steel cage is less than 3 mm, significantly improving the load-bearing performance of pile foundations.

Compatibility Between Operation and Construction

The touch-screen numerical control operation simplifies the process, ensuring precise alignment and lapping of the formed steel cages. This significantly reduces on-site hoisting and connection time, meeting the fast-paced construction requirements of large-scale projects.
